Program Keyboard Shortcut

The Start menu start is great tool for finding/running programs, but its multiple levels of folders can be time consuming to navigate. If you are using a certain program frequently, you are a good typist, you should set a keyboard shortcut for it so that you can start the program without taking your hands off the keyboard, because sometimes using a mouse actually slow your tasks down.

To set a program keyboard shortcut :

  1. Click the Start menu, and then click All Programs. Choose the program that you want to start with a keyboard shortcut (i.e. Internet Explorer), right click and then click Properties.

blackberry
Have you read about Laptop Battery Maintenance or ATM Security..? It's time to talk about Blackberry.

If you are a new BlackBerry owner, or an old owner experiencing low battery issues, read through these tips:

Overview :
Li-Ion battery are best kept topped up regularly. A battery that has been left flat for a long time will benefit from being fully-charged and then fully discharged a couple of times, but there is no advantage to doing this to batteries in regular use.
  1. You need to break in the BlackBerry battery. Charge-discharge it fully about 3 times. This will max the battery life of a fresh, new Lithium ion.
Note: once you do that, don't get in the habit of fully discharging the battery everytime -- to prevent wearing it out -- lithium batteries can be damaged ith excessive deep discharges like a car battery can be.... When breaking in the battery, make sure you keep it plugged in long after the battery says it is fully charged (i.e. overnight), you really want to trickle-charge your BlackBerry to top-off your battery.
